Mezada (Bar Yehuda) Airfield (Hebrew מצדה ,(מנחת בר־יהודה), Mezada (minḥat bar-yehuda)  Mezada Airfield is the lowest airport in the world. -400 Meters below sea level.
(Known also as Bar Yehuda Airfield) .The Airfield is located in the southern Judean desert, between Arad and Ein Gedi, south of the Dead Sea.
Opened in 1963, at the foot of the Mezada fortress, it is just 4.2 km (2.6 mi) from the Mezada fortress access and about 10 minutes drive from the Hotel and the resort area. The airfield is a public concession, mainly used as an alternative airport for charter and sightseeing flights.
