Unless you decide to arrive by ship, you will arrive to Ben Gurion Airport 
(The Israeli Int'l Airport)

If you need a Visa, please ensure it is valid and with you upon arrival.
 

The site is located between three international airports:

  • You can fly to Tel-Aviv, Eilat or Amman ( Jordan ) and then drive.

  • Average flying time to Tel Aviv from several cities:
    Rome, Vienna 3 hr. 20 mins
    Munich, Milan 3 hr. 40 mins
    Frankfurt, Berlin, Zurich, Geneva 4 hrs.
    Paris, Amsterdam, Moscow, Brussels, Copenhagen 4 hr. 20 mins
    Madrid, Saint Petersburg, London 4 hr. 20 mins
    Montreal, New York 10 hrs.

  • Drive from "Ben Gurion" International Airport (near Tel-Aviv) to Southern Dead Sea 2 hrs. 30 mins

  • Drive from "Ovda" International Airport (65 km north of Eilat) 2 hrs 30 min.

  • Drive from Amman International Airport: Please consult your travel agent.

  • Shuttle bus - please consult your travel agent.

  • Car rental - main international companies are represented in the main cities and at Ben Gurion International Airport - advanced reservations are recommended.
    Drivers must be over 21 and have an international credit card.

  • Taxi from Ben Gurion International Airport Taxi "Sherut" (When a few passengers take the same vehicle) to Jerusalem, and then a "Special" taxi to the Dead Sea.
     

Public transportation
"Egged", bus cooperative, operates nearly all inter-city bus lines.
Most bus lines do no operate on the Sabbath (Friday evening to Saturday night).
